XP Retail fabricated and installed several Matrix Frames and fabric graphics at BMW’s North American headquarters in Spartanburg, SC, including a forty foot x fifteen foot concave radius frame and silicone-edge fabric graphic on one of their major displays in the Zentrum.

The radius frame was created using Matrix profile 26. To make the job even more challenging, the bottom portion of the frame not only curved around the display, it descended at the same time forming a compound radius.  The graphic was fit and sewn with the silicone edge on site to ensure proper fit and finish.

In addition to some standard Matrix Frames and fabric banners in other areas of the museum, XP also fabricated several overlay frames, which were powder coated black, to give the graphics in these areas a  beefier look.  The overlay frames can be easily removed so that the silicone-edge graphics can be changed out at any time.

XP Retail used Matrix Profile 26 throughout and the graphics were printed on DecoTex fabrics using Dupont Artistri printers.

 XP retail has been servicing Corey Companies with Matrix frames and fabric graphics for their airport clients.  Brig Newman, Vice President of Operations with Corey Companies decided after using the Matrix framing system for several of his airport advertising spaces that this is  the wave of the future for advertising.  The silicone-edge fabric graphics make updating the prints in a frame unbelievably easy.  No longer does it take multiple days to change and ad spot and this is huge when you are talking to a client about renting a space and they want their ad to be there every minute that they paid for!

Brig and his team decided that their conference room needed to have a montage of Matrix frames so their clients could see the fabulous printing and ingenious frames first hand.  They used profile 26 light for all of these frames.  The sizes were varied and this really adds interest to the wall, while showcasing the Corey Companies logo in the center. Once again XP Retail and Matrix Frame help a client bolster their brand!

TeraRecon, the leader in 3D visualization technology that adds life to CT, MR, and PET scans, worked with XP Retail to design, manufacture and install a completely new look for their trade show booth at the 2013 HIMMS Show in New Orleans, LA.  TeraRecon contacted XP Retail with the idea of going BIG with their back drop for this year’s show, and that is exactly what they got.  The back drop that was designed to be both functional as one large unit, and then capable of being broken into parts to be used as individual units for smaller shows.

XP Retail knew that this was a tall order but was confident with the Matrix Frame product that this could be accomplished.  The unit was laid out as eight 8’ x 10’ profile 200 double-sided light boxes, four units wide by two units high, with two 6’ x 4’ profile 200 light boxes as side mount feet for stability.  The units were all tied together to create a total finished size of 32’ wide x 20’ high.  This is quite a display and is the largest display that has ever been requested to be built by Matrix Frame USA to date!

TeraRecon definitely made a statement with this set up at the show!  XP Retail also designed a small reception table with a 22” x  44” profile 120 light box on the face and 36” diameter top to be used as an I pad kiosk for the booth.  All of the pieces were custom crated and shipped to the show and then the installation was overseen by the XP Retail crew, thus insuring the customer was successful in the setup of this phenomenal booth.  TeraRecon is so pleased with the end result that they are already talking with XP Retail about building the next trade show booth even bigger!

In addition to the ten 6′ x 17′ large format wall mounted tension fabric  frames in the atrium, the thirty-six 4′ x 6′ wall mounted frames scattered throughout the building, the three 5′ x 7′ wall mounted tension fabric light boxes in the main hall on the first floor, the eight 4′ x 10′  tension frames in the overview room and the seven 2′ x 3′ frames in one of the executive conference rooms, for which Belk reprints the graphics five times per year, XP Retail has recently added more Matrix Frames in several more areas of their building.

Belk recently coordinated a competition, called the Belk Designer Showcase, for fashion designers to submit their designs to Belk for judging with the winner having their designs produced by Belk and sold in their department stores.  XP Retail designed and built a freestanding archway, using Matrix profile 26, for the finalists to walk through at the competition, as well as ten freestanding, double-sided frames with a photo and the name of each finalist printed on the fabric panels.

Belk and XP have also added several grand format frames and graphics in the lobby area outside the overview room, using Matrix profile 16, to promote innovation among the employees. In this same area, they have repurposed the ten freestanding frames to feature employees who have won awards.  These same frames have also been utilized for other events, including an art gala they held at the building.

They periodically add additional double-sided way finding signs, using Matrix profile 43, to identify specific departments throughout their headquarters.  They probably have approximately 40 of these fabric frames in use at this point.

The 32′ x 12′ multiple-piece light box display is a real eye-catcher when you first enter the building through the main entrance.  XP Retail fabricated the eight individual light boxes using Matrix profile 120 and built a freestanding display to incorporate the boxes to create a bold statement.  Belk utilizes this display to communicate corporate and community activities.

According to National Retail Federation, retail sales will increase by 3.4 percent this year, reflecting a more modest consumer in response to continued economic uncertainty. NRF’s digital division, Shop.org, predicts online sales will increase between 9 and 12 percent.  Read More

As part of an overall facelift at the Smithsonian’s American Indian Museum, Dodge Chrome contracted with XP Retail to produce 27 Matrix Frames and fabric prints of various sizes and configurations.

The majority of the frames were concave and convex radius frames, which were installed on curved walls. The rest of the frames were of the standard variety for the flat wall applications. Matrix profile 16 was used for all of the frames and the silicone-edge graphics were all done on DecoTex fabric and printed on Dupont Artistri printing equipment.

Thomas Sign Creations, now XP Retail, produced 24 various single-sided frames and graphics ranging in size from 24″ x 24″ to 48″ x 72″ using Matrix Frame profile 26 and printing on DecoTex fabrics using DuPont Artistri printing equipment.

They also built a 71″ x 96″ single-sided light box for the cash wrap using profile 120 and a double-sided light box with built-in touchscreen monitor and custom pedestal using profile 200, printed on Luxx fabric.

Gervais, who has been a Matrix Frame Dealer in Louisiana and Las Vegas for the past two and a half years, was quoted as saying, “The reason that I pursued this deal with Jack is two-fold. The vast majority of my Matrix Frame business has been coming from corporate event stage sets and trade show displays and I was looking for an entry into the retail environment. TSC has a nice book of consistent Matrix retail business, and this will give me an East Coast presence.”
